In 2020 we had Lake Michigan Construction company do a complete renovation of our home. This renovation included extensive interior renovations with some new windows, sliders, doors, paint, flooring, wall moves, etc. Outside included two custom decks, one of which is a second story balcony. Both very well engineered and built to last! During the 5 months of construction we had many discussions “As you can imagine” on paint colors, small design changes, etc. Mark and his team were fantastic to work with and were very open minded to our ideas on changes. The Lake Michigan Construction company team is Top guality, very dedicated, and hard-working. We rated them five stars because we feel they are the best of the best!

Mark and his team recently completed the construction of our forever home and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. The whole process was seamless, which was very difficult to do due to the shortages and price changes in 2021. Even with those hurdles, he remained on schedule and on budget. We researched many builders before starting our project and after we began it was clear we made the right choice. Mark communicated well with us during the entire process and did a great job designing a truly custom home. It was easy to tell that he was passionate about the project and the work he was performing and that he is a true craftsman. I spoke to many of his subcontractors during the build as well and he has great relationships with them and they enjoyed working with Mark. If your looking for an honest builder with a high level of integrity then you found the right company!

In 2021, Mark and his crew took on the task of rebuilding our home after a fire destroyed it. They gutted it down to the studs and treated the wood to make sure no lingering smoke smell was detected. Mark worked with us to incorporate some changes we wanted to make, and he and his crew did some amazing work. Within budget constraints from the insurance company, they maximized every dollar and created for us a brand-new, beautiful home. Mark kept the project moving along steadily and it was finished in about 1/2 the time a normal fire restoration is (according to our insurance). I could not be happier. I highly recommend Lake Michigan Construction Company for your construction or renovation needs.

Mark and the team at LMCC knocked our custom home build out of the park! The attention to detail is what set him apart from other companies. A new house with fresh paint may look good, but its the pride and craftsmanship put into that make it stand out. Unlike a production build, we were not taken advantage of and we were able to have full contact with Mark for the entire process. We threw in some curveballs and Mark took them in stride and produced a product that was better than we had pictured. All the subs used for the project were top notch and are loyal to LMCC for a reason.

Once again, Mark and his crew came through for us! They completed our rebuild after a fire last year (posted above by my daughter) so when a storm damaged the side of the house earlier this week, the first one I thought to call was Mark. Initially he thought he wouldn’t be able to get anyone out until the following week, but ended up calling me the next morning and said he had arranged things to get the crew out there the following morning. It looks just like nothing ever happened! I just could not be more grateful to have found Mark and his crew. They work very hard to deliver the best results. If you have a building or renovation project, you will do yourself a favor to hire Lake Michigan Construction. They are awesome 🙂
